European Prevention of Alzheimer’s Dementia (EPAD)

The European Prevention of Alzheimer’s Dementia (EPAD) is a European level collaboration between the academic and private sectors for the trial of innovative treatments in the prevention of Alzheimer’s disease. It will be coordinated in Spain through the Barcelonaβeta Brain Research Center, the research center of the Pasqual Maragall Foundation.

The project is financed with grant number 115736 of the Innovative Medicines Initiative, which is a joint initiative of the research and innovation program of the European Commission Horizon 2020 and the European Federation of Pharmaceutical Industries and Associations (EFPIA).
