If you wish to include Fundación Pasqual Maragall in your last will and testament as heir or beneficiary of a legacy, we recommend that you follow the steps below:
Consult with a notary public to help you prepare your last will and testament. They will answer all of your questions and advise you on key aspects that will ensure that your will is valid and can be executed according to your wishes.
Include the Fundación Pasqual Maragall as heir or beneficiary of a legacy gift. To do so, the following details must be included in the document:

Inform us that you have included the Foundation in your will to ensure that your wishes will be met. You do not need to specify the donation amount.

How can I include Fundación Pasqual Maragall in my last will and testament?
Depending on your circumstances, there are different ways of including Fundación Pasqual Maragall in your last will and testament:

You can donate a part of your estate to Fundación Pasqual Maragall through a legacy gift. It could be a specific amount of money, a percentage of the value of your estate, property, jewellery, work of art, stock, etc.

If you wish to donate to more than one person and/or institution, you can designate Fundación Pasqual Maragall as coheir, indicating the percentage assigned to each party.

If you have no heirs, you can designate Fundación Pasqual Maragall as universal heir, bequeathing all of your estate, rights and/or stock to the Foundation.
You have our commitment
Your contribution will go towards clinical research projects oriented to finding a cure for Alzheimer’s and providing care and support for Alzheimer’s caregivers. If you wish, you can indicate the type of project you wish to support through your bequest or legacy.
Our commitment is to act with the utmost professionalism and transparency to guarantee that your wish as expressed in your will and testament will be met. The inheritance process leading up to distribution of amounts will be performed diligently, working with all the parties involved and meeting all legal requirements.
We will handle all gifts as follows:

Amounts in current accounts or deposits, once adjudicated, will be transferred to the treasury of Fundación Pasqual Maragall to be later allocated to the Foundation’s aims.

Any amounts obtained from property, valuable goods and/or investment funds or stock will be allocated to the Foundation’s aims.

Any goods of sentimental value (photographs, documents, mementos, etc.) will be offered for free to the family and any individuals who cared for the deceased person.

Any goods of limited economic and sentimental value (such as domestic appliances) will be donated to a charitable organisation to be used as they see fit.
