RESEARCH FORMS PART OF OUR DNA
The Pasqual Maragall Foundation manages its scientific activity through a research centre, known as the Barcelonaβeta Brain Research Center. Our activity focuses on developing research lines that generate new knowledge in order to design strategies and prevention programmes. This often leads to positive results that provide economic returns in various ways, as well as providing the market with the infrastructures and services that adress the needs identified by the research in this field.

ALFA STUDY
WE CARE FOR CAREGIVERS
By providing the caregivers with the right tools, we can help them deel with feelings of loneliness when caring for and protecting sufferers of Alzheimer’s disease. With our therapy group programme, we investigate how to improve the quality of the life of the caregivers by sharing their experiences and emotions in a group setting and teaching them to care for their loved ones and for themselves.
