In response to the social and scientific challenges that Alzheimer's presents to society, we have designed a Strategic Plan that will allow us to continue taking firm steps towards a future without Alzheimer's.
After more than fifteen years since we assumed this commitment, what began as a visionary project has been consolidated as a professional and leading entity, where we have more than 250 dedicated professionals, offering support to more than 1,500 families throughout Spain and developing reference research projects with the participation of more than 3,000 people. This extended collaboration includes internationally renowned institutions, with the aim of advancing science in this field.
The new Strategic Plan is designed to position the Foundation to meet the current challenges related to Alzheimer's disease. Our main objectives include: generation and promotion of science relevant, as well as the transformation of the social health system through the application of our scientific discoveries. To achieve these objectives, we will focus on three fundamental pillars: attracting and retaining customers talent, a sustainable growth and the promotion of a organizational culture solid, agile and inclusive.
We have defined specific objectives within this framework, which include the implementation of Early diagnosis and treatment protocols for Alzheimer's, raising the profile of the disease as a political and institutional priority In Spain, improve the assistance to caregivers, attract talent national and international, optimize the use of the resources economic, and structure an organization that facilitates better coordination among its members, among others.
