As part of the invitations that the Pasqual Maragall Foundation makes to political representatives to raise awareness of the reality of Alzheimer's disease and the importance of its research, deputies from the parliamentary group of Junts per Catalunya visited the headquarters of the Pasqual Maragall Foundation and the Barcelona Beta Brain Research Center on Wednesday. During the visit, the deputies were able to learn first-hand about our scientific project, based on the early detection and prevention of Alzheimer's, as well as our support programs for caregivers and awareness-raising about the disease.
The Foundation was visited by the president of the parliamentary group, Albert Batet; the deputy and spokesperson, Mònica Sales; the deputy and president of the Commission for Health and the Study of Mental Health and Addictions, Assumpció Laïlla; and the deputy Irene Negre.
The deputies were accompanied by the Foundation's management team, headed by the president of the entity, Cristina Maragall; the vice president, Dr. Jordi Camí; the general director, Dr. Arcadi Navarro and the manager, Glòria Oliver.
