She holds a PhD in Biology from the University of Barcelona (1991) and a Master's degree in Scientific Communication (Barcelona School of Management-UPF, 1997). She has a General Management Program from IESE (2007).
She is a partner at Alta Life Sciences, a venture capital fund that invests in life sciences companies, based in Barcelona. Previously, she was general manager of the Barcelona Institute of Science and Technology, the Barcelona Science Park and Biocat. She is a member of the board of trustees of EADA and the board of directors of RACC.
