With a background in tourism studies, Guillem Maragall has been working in the services sector as a sales administrator and R&D project manager at Sodexo since February 2009. Previously, for three years, he worked as a cleaning manager and sales administrator for public cleaning tenders at the company Valoriza, part of the Sacyr Vallehermoso Group. From 1999 to 2005, he worked in the hotel sector.
