We received a visit from Alzheimer Research UK

For three days we have received at the Foundation's headquarters the main representatives of Alzheimer Research UK (ARUK), a renowned entity and a benchmark in Alzheimer's research on the international scene. This important meeting has had the strategic objective of bringing the two institutions closer together, strengthening ties and establishing synergies in key areas such as research, public advocacy and fundraising, among others.

In the working sessions, the ARUK delegation participated, headed by Hilary Evans, CEO; Sheona Scales, Director of Research; and Nina Ziaullah, Director of Strategy and Governance, as well as different representatives of the Management and functional areas of the Pasqual Maragall Foundation and the Barcelonaβeta Brain Research Center.

The meeting was a platform to strengthen collaboration between the two institutions, sharing experiences and strategies in key areas such as: organizational growth, how to address the current state of Alzheimer's research, what key initiatives are being carried out in fundraising and communication, what prevention and detection campaigns are being developed, etc.

The event has laid the groundwork for future collaborations and marks a step in the search for innovative solutions for our common cause: achieving a world without Alzheimer's disease.
