We join the State Roundtable for the rights of the elderly

The Roundtable collects the demand of various social entities for the defense of the rights of older people within the framework of the United Nations

The Pasqual Maragall Foundation has joined the State Roundtable for the Rights of Older People, made up of the main third sector entities related to older people, to defend the dignity and rights of this group.

The State Roundtable, created in 2013, joins the existing movement in 57 countries to demand a United Nations Convention on the Human Rights of Older Persons. Its mission is based on the defense of the rights of older persons in the face of abuse or violence, the fight against age discrimination, visibility within the framework of the protection of human rights and the revaluation of the contributions of older people in society.
