From October 29 to 31, we have opened the doors of the Foundation to all those students, teachers and administrative and service staff of the Pompeu Fabra University, Ciutadella Campus, interested in learning about our social and scientific project based on the early detection and prevention of Alzheimer's.
Through three sessions led by the Dr Nina Gramunt Fombuena, a neuropsychologist expert in training and dissemination of the Foundation, and the Dr. Anna Brugulat, a neuropsychologist and researcher at our research center, the Barcelonaβeta Brain Research Center, we were able to explain the activities we carry out on a daily basis, as well as the advances in research into Alzheimer's disease, both in early detection and in treatments.
Finally, with a visit to the facilities, we were able to show the cutting-edge research platforms that make our studies possible.
