In it, we were able to share the results of the survey “Attitudes and perceptions of the Spanish population regarding Alzheimer’s”, whose purpose is to find out the opinion of the population on different aspects of the disease and to provide an analysis of the perceptions, knowledge and attitudes towards Alzheimer's and its research.

Gathered under the motto “Dementia: knowledge, innovation and inspiration” The conference brought together more than 1,000 delegates from five continents, with a wide variety of speakers who reported on the main advances in the seven areas of action of the Global Action Plan on Dementia contemplated by the World Health Organization.

In the various presentations we have been able to make visible the need to address dementia at the global, regional and local levels, demanding that dementia becomes a national priority that increases investment in research and promotes best practices by governments in all aspects of addressing the disease.
