The research team of the Barcelonaβeta Brain Research Center (BBRC), a research center of the Pasqual Maragall Foundation, will have a prominent participation during the Alzheimer's Association International Conference (AAIC), the most important and influential congress focused on scientific advances in the field of Alzheimer's and other dementias.

During the meeting, which will take place in Philadelphia from July 28 to August 1, researchers from the center will contribute a total of Six talks and twenty posters at the AAIC congress and at the Alzheimer's Imaging Consortium (AIC) pre-conference, dedicated to new neuroimaging techniques and analysis. The full programme with the participation of the BBRC is available at the online grant system.

«Apart from the prestige that comes with presenting our work at an international conference such as the AAIC", explains the Dr. Natalia Vilor-Tejedor, researcher and leader of the Genetic Neuroepidemiology and Biostatistics team at the BBRC, “Participation gives us the opportunity to gain different perspectives and suggestions for improving the approach, methods and results of our studies, which is an invaluable aid to the growth and continuous improvement of research.” He also adds: “AAIC is a platform for making research results known to a wider audience. Presenting studies at these events increases the visibility and recognition of the research team, as well as the dissemination of the findings in the global scientific community.
