The Pasqual Maragall Foundation and the Association of Relatives of Alzheimer's Patients in Burgos have organised an information and awareness day on Alzheimer's disease and dementia in Burgos.
The conference «Alzheimer's disease and dementia today», which was given by Dr. Arcadi Navarro, general director of the Pasqual Maragall Foundation and the Barcelonaβeta Brain Research Center (BBRC), addressed the knowledge of these diseases, as well as their impact on society and the current state of research.
During our visit to Burgos, we were able to visit the AFABUR facilities and learn about the project they are developing, as well as their essential work of support and advice to affected families, patients and society in general.
