The fourth deputy mayor for Economy, Finance, Economic Promotion and Tourism of the Barcelona City Council, Jordi Valls, has visited the headquarters of the Pasqual Maragall Foundation and the Barcelonaβeta Brain Research Center to learn more about our social and scientific projects based on the early detection and prevention of Alzheimer's.

Throughout the visit, We have been able to present our scientific project and the infrastructure that allows us to develop it, as well as our support programs for caregivers and awareness-raising and dissemination of information about the disease.

During the meeting, Jordi Valls highlighted the Foundation "its social roots and the ability to disseminate information about a disease that has not been talked about for many years, as well as the support and accompaniment of caregivers".

The fourth deputy mayor for Economy, Finance, Economic Promotion and Tourism of Barcelona City Council was accompanied by the head of the Fourth Deputy Mayor's Office, Serrat Font; and the advisor of the Fourth Lieutenancy, Mireia Bel. On behalf of the Foundation, the president, Cristina Maragall; the general manager, the Dr. Arcadi Navarro; the vice president, the Dr. Jordi Cami; the manager, Gloria Oliver; and the director of the Area of Incidence and Institutional Relations, Eva Nebot.
