The Mayor of Barcelona, Jaume Collboni, has visited the headquarters of the Pasqual Maragall Foundation and the Barcelona Beta Brain Research Center to learn first-hand about our social and scientific projects based on the early detection and prevention of Alzheimer's.
During the visit, we were able to present the details of our scientific project, based on the early detection and prevention of Alzheimer's, as well as our support programs for caregivers and awareness-raising about the disease.
The Mayor of Barcelona was accompanied by the President of the Foundation, Cristina Maragall; the Director General, Dr. Arcadi Navarro; the Manager, Gloria Oliver; the Councillor for Health, People with Disabilities and Strategy against Loneliness, Marta Villanueva; the Chief of Staff of the Department of Health, Lluis Crespo; and the Mayor's Advisor, Eduard Güell.
