This morning, the headquarters of the Pasqual Maragall Foundation hosted the meeting of the Council of Foundations for Science, convened by the Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology, FECYT.
After the institutional welcome and the presentation of the day, by Ms. Inma Aguilar, general director of FECYT, and Dr. Arcadi Navarro, director of our entity, Ms. Paca Ciller, co-founder and curator of STEAMConf Barcelona, spoke on the "International Learning Conference". Next, Ms. Carmen Sabalete and Mr. Guillermo Orts, director and digital director of Very interesting, respectively, have today inaugurated the Muy Interesante Foundation for the Social Transfer of Knowledge. And, finally, Ms. Pampa García Molina, as coordinator of SMC Spain, has given the talk “Science Media Centre Spain: what you need when science is news”.
Once this first part was finished, we made a visit to our facilities to present our scientific project to the members of the Council of Foundations for Science, as well as our support programs for caregivers and for dissemination and awareness of the disease.
