The President of the Parliament of Catalonia, Anna Erra, has visited the headquarters of the Pasqual Maragall Foundation and the Barcelonaβeta Brain Research Center to learn first-hand about our social and scientific projects based on early detection and prevention of Alzheimer's.
Throughout the visit, We have been able to present our scientific project, as well as our support programs for caregivers and awareness-raising programs regarding the disease.
During the meeting, the President of the Parliament highlighted the importance of research to advance the prevention and early detection of Alzheimer's, and to generate knowledge about this disease. He has also highlighted the dissemination and excellence of Alzheimer's research carried out by the Pasqual Maragall Foundation, which places Catalonia as one of the European and world leaders in this field.
The President of the Parliament of Catalonia was accompanied by the head of the Cabinet of the Presidency, Jordi Moreso; the head of Institutional Relations, Eduard Triay; and the Communications Advisor to the Presidential Cabinet, Anna Grabalosa.
