On April 3 and 9, the sixth edition of the "Remember" series will begin,, with the support of the Barcelona Provincial Council, a space dedicated to sharing information about Alzheimer's, raising awareness of its importance, and offering recommendations on prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of the disease. The series will feature experts from the Foundation and our research center, the Barcelonaβeta Brain Research Center (BBRC).

This year, the talks will focus on various aspects related to Alzheimer's:

He April 3 at 6 p.m. - The importance of early diagnosis of Alzheimer's. In this first talk, Dr. Nina Gramunt Fombuena, neuropsychologist and expert in training and dissemination at the Foundation, and the Dr. Ana Fernandez Arcos, a neurologist and researcher in the BBRC's Clinical Research and Risk Factors for Neurodegenerative Diseases Group, will discuss the importance of early diagnosis, reflecting on the benefits it can bring to both the affected person and their families.

He April 9 at 6 p.m. - Understanding psychological and behavioral changes to improve coexistence. The psychologist and therapist of the Foundation Elena of Andres will offer advice and guidelines for dealing with the daily challenges of caring for people with Alzheimer's. The talk will include practical guidelines for preventing and managing behavioral changes, with the goal of improving the well-being and well-being of both the person affected and their caregivers.
