Context

The Pasqual Maragall Foundation was created in 2008 with the mission of promoting and developing excellent biomedical research. The Foundation is fully committed to being decisive in providing global solutions to the problem of Alzheimer's disease and related dementias, as well as to raising social awareness to ensure that scientific support for these challenges achieves the appropriate priority. The Foundation's research is carried out at the Barcelonaßeta Brain Research Center (BBRC), a research center established with the participation of Pompeu Fabra University and "la Caixa" Foundation.

The vision of the Pasqual Maragall Foundation is to achieve a future without Alzheimer's, within the framework of active and healthy ageing that is associated with positive experiences and free of problems and cognitive decline. To this end, BBRC research is aimed at the primary and secondary prevention of Alzheimer's disease, which is possible thanks to the participation of thousands of people who voluntarily contribute to scientific studies to ensure that, in the near future, there will be far fewer people with the disease.

The Pasqual Maragall Foundation is a private, non-profit organization. Its financial resources come from philanthropic donations from entities and companies, as well as from an extensive network of more than 90,000 members who contribute to funding research. The Pasqual Maragall Foundation is a young, established and growing foundation that, together with the BBRC, currently has more than 250 people. The FPM team has transversal areas of maintenance, IT, finance, purchasing, human resources, communication, social area and fundraising, and the BBRC scientific team is made up of research staff and professionals from the areas of medicine, biology, psychology and nursing, among others. All in a dynamic environment, in which continuous challenges are part of the Foundation's scope of work.

Position Description

The selected person will be part of our internal direct dialogue program (F2F) whose main mission will be the Partner recruitment regular for the Foundation and compliance with the qualitative and quantitative objectives established in the Delegation of Catalonia. It is important for the development of the position to comply with the code of conduct and good practices of the Foundation.

The selected person will report to one of our F2F Coordinators in the Levante Delegation.

We are looking for people committed to the values of the Pasqual Maragall Foundation to work in our F2F teams. We want to disseminate the research programs we develop for the prevention of the disease, as well as our work with caregivers of people with Alzheimer's.

Main tasks

• Recruiting regular members for a future without Alzheimer's.
• Informing passers-by about the projects carried out by the Foundation.
• Representation of the Foundation on the street.
• Comply with the Foundation's code of conduct and good practices.
• Completion of recruitment forms.
• Meet the established quantitative and qualitative objectives.
• Individual monitoring reports.
• Provide knowledge for program improvement.
• Ensure compliance with the Foundation's mission and values.

Requirements for the position

We are looking for people with the ability to transmit the values of the Foundation, people committed to social causes and focused on meeting the objectives in order to ensure that with the collaboration of each partner it is possible to defeat the disease: “Nowhere is it written that he is invincible”.

What do we offer?

• Direct contracting by the Pasqual Maragall Foundation.
• Working day: 4.5 hours per day (22.5 hours per week).
• Fixed salary of 9,000 gross per year + variable remuneration based on objectives.
• 23 working days of annual vacation.
