The Pasqual Maragall Foundation was founded in April 2008 as a result of the public commitment of Pasqual Maragall, former mayor of Barcelona and president of the Generalitat of Catalonia, after being diagnosed with Alzheimer's.
Through the Barcelonaßeta Brain Research Center (BBRC), our research center, we are committed to the prevention of Alzheimer's and the study of cognitive functions affected by age.
