President, since 2020, of the Pasqual Maragall Foundation, a private non-profit entity that aims to achieve a future without Alzheimer's through research and innovation. Cristina Maragall has been linked to the Foundation since its inception, as a member of the Board of Trustees since its creation in 2008 and also as its spokesperson since 2015.
She holds a degree in Architecture from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia and a postgraduate degree in Gardening and Landscape from the Technical School of Agricultural Engineers of Barcelona. Since 2004 she has run her own architecture studio and has worked on social housing and urban landscape projects.
He currently combines this activity with a growing dedication to the Pasqual Maragall Foundation, with the aim of achieving a change in the social consideration of Alzheimer's disease in order to improve the quality of life of affected families and promote research.
