The study will provide new data about dementia in our country, for instance, the number of deaths derived from it, the geographic distribution of this mortality within Spanish regions and cities, the risk of dying from these diseases, or whether this risk has changed over the two decades studied (1984-2004).
The Group on Health Disparities (GREDS/EMCONET) at the Pompeu Fabra University, directed by Dr. Joan Benach, has a vast experience in the analysis of the mortality and its geographical distribution.
